Quotes

I really like quotes, something about them. They have to be pretty succinct but also have to have some kernel of wisdom in them. These are some that come to mind.
“A bird in the hand is better than two in the bush.”
“I took the road less traveled by and this made all of the difference”
“Beauty is in the eye of the beholder”
I dont know where the first one is from. The second on is from a Robert Frost poem that I really like. I am also not sure about the third. But either way they are like bite size sentences, and I feel I could make some. Are they going to be good? No. But It would be fun to make them, and maybe one will catch on with you and your friends and then I will be a famous quote person.
“Independence is a virtue in itself” - Maybe this is already a quote, it sounds familiar. I really do believe this though, I think there is strength in the ability to do basic cleaning, cooking, and hygiene tasks.
“Don’t believe the hype” - I am a pessimist (or realist) at heart and so I feel this one in my bones.
“Trust is everything, be careful with yours” - Again probably a little pessimistic but I really think that trust is really important. Banks, governments, law enforcement, daycare. I put my trust into all of these systems to a certain degree, it is better when I can trust them fully.
“Adventures are not fun when you are on them” - My dad coined this so you have to give him credit. Often when I am on a real adventurous it is not fun and I am anxious. Only afterwards do I find the adventure entertaining.
Please try to spread these quotes or sayings and attribute them to me (or my dad) and so I can be famous in the future.
Thanks and just kidding.
