Sickness

Being sick is not fun, but sometimes it hits you harder emotionally than others.
Two days ago our youngest was sick, he woke up from his sleep very sweaty, and then proceeded to throw up numerous times, like 12. We tried to keep him hydrated with water and juice but he was not in a good mood and I felt really bad for him. After a long nap he seemed to feel better and we fed him more. Yesterday he was doing well.
Yesterday the bug hit me. I had diarrhea in the morning and after that I just felt bad. Like I had the chills and couldn’t think super clearly. Then a few hours later I threw up three times. For the rest of the day I did little work and just lay in bed hoping the sickness would pass. I also just feel out of breath all of the time, and pain from muscle aches. I picked up the youngest from school yesterday, we played, and then we both went to sleep at 7:30. I did not sleep well but that is part of it. I still feel out of breath although I am trying to drink more water and stay hydrated now.
Our oldest got up this morning and said he felt rocky, which is our word for nauseous, I assume he has the same thing and that today will be rough for him.
I hope that Sneha doesn’t get it.
But overall I feel really bad for the kids and a little bad for myself. I can at least rationalize a stomach virus and have had them before. I hope the oldest doesn’t have too bad of symptoms and I hope the youngest is all done with it. Also we will have to cancel all of our weekend plans, I feel a little bad about that but health and not getting people sick come first.
