Soup

I went with my wife to a hot pot place, we went on a fun lunch date today to a place she has heard of. As married people with kids it can be hard to make fun dates. After a work meeting I got in the car with our youngest and my wife, Sneha, and we sped away to the restaurant so I could get back to work afterwards. There was no traffic and we got to the place, Mala Town (I think this is the one: https://g.co/kgs/V9qxGNj ).

We got food, I got it with one hand and held the baby with the other, and we ordered it and paid. They cooked it and Sneha and I talked for a few minutes. We gave the baby a fruit pouch and he was happy to eat it. After the food was prepared, maybe 10 minutes, we started eating and the baby was chill for a few minutes. The food was delicious. After those minutes passed the baby got a little restless and Sneha started giving him water. Eventually he got bored with that and started to whine.

We swapped and I held the baby and Sneha got to eat in peace. And while I held the baby he grabbed my bowl of soup and before I could do anything spilled it over both of us. I got lucky, I really did, that the soup was only lukewarm. And that is the story, I tried to dry us off the best I could and we went home and I gave the baby a bath and took a shower soon after.

I think the moral of the story is that I need to be more careful and that the baby is wicked strong.
