Weekend Plans

Quote of the day: There is a fine line between a start up being successful and losing all of your money and living with no teeth under a bridge -Gary Button
My wife laughed at us not eating fast food. Reading it back I have exaggerated, sorry. We do eat fast food but we try to do it seldomly. I do enjoy In and Out but aside from that I dont think we eat very much fast food. With the birth of our kids we do eat more McDonalds than I would like to admin, maybe once a month on average. But I still think we eat less fast food than the average family. I also dont consider Chipotle to be fast food. If you did then my fast food consumption goes up.
Hopefully that is more of an accurate representation of our eating.
Ok I do not recall if I have written about this before so if I have please feel free to skip the rest. My wife, my lovely wife Sneha, really loves enjoying the weekends. She schedules a lot of our social engagements on the weekends, this make sense since we are pretty busy during the weekdays with both of us working. Also she wants to do lot of fun things on the weekends, take the kids to a amusement park, go to a normal park, hang out with my parents, hang out with her parents, see friends of our oldest kid (it is super cute he has his own friends), go to a farmer’s market, etc. Not to state the obvious but our weekends are pretty packed with stuff.
And then comes me who has a different viewpoint, I love to catch up on chores during the weekend. I think this comes from my Dad and both me and my brother have it, but the weekend is for doing stuff that you couldn’t fit into the weekday. I really like washing the car, cleaning the garage, trying to get tax stuff together, cooking or baking something cool, deep cleaning this house, vacuuming, etc.
And so we something clash and fight about the weekends. If we have had too many ‘fun’ weekends I will get annoyed and if we have had too many ‘cleaning’ weekends Sneha will be annoyed. And I think we are getting better at striking a compromise, we used to fight more. This weekend was a good mix of stuff. Let me know what type of weekend you tend to prefer.
